This Design can be embroidered as a lace insert on fabric - in this case you should insert the fabric together with the water-soluble stabilizer, than embroider the first colour (backstitch + zigzag) and cut the fabric out inside of the stitch, but leave the stabilizer untouched. Than embroider the second colour - the lace itself.
